Decals

No Decal

Choose the “No Decal” option when you want a solid colored car body, not counting the black windows and colored trim.

Simple Decals

Simple decals meet the following criteria.

• Two colors (not including window and trim)
• 1 stencil / mask layer max
  • No Freehand Airbrushing or Painting
• No fine details (masks smaller than a penny)
  • No lettering or logos

Normal Decals

Normal Decals meet the following criteria.

• Three colors max (not including window and trim)
• 2 stencil / mask layer max
  • Minimal Freehand Airbrushing or Painting
• Minimal fine details (masks smaller than a penny)
  • No lettering or logos

Complex Decals

Complex Decals are decals that do not fit in the above categories. Things that typically make it fall into this category include any of the following:

• More than 3 colors (not including window and trim)
  • I can not make cars with more than 6 total colors including the trim and black windows, or the layers of paint start to separate.
• More than 3 stencil layers
  • Typically if it is more than 4 then the above not about more than 6 colors comes into effect
    • Extensive freehand airbrushing (like interstellar)
    • Extensive hand painting
• Fine details (smaller than a penny)
  • This includes letters or logos

Esports Decals

Esports Decals are decals that are featured in the Esports shop, and represent teams from RLCS. Newer Esports decals have become so complex, with so many colors that i can not make them, but free free to reach out and ask. But likely i will suggest a dramatic simplification of the decal or decline the sale.

Custom Decals

Custom decals are one-off or low demand decals. Each decal i make requires the masks to be created on the computer to be cut using a vinyl cutting machine. This requires an extra 1-3 hours up-front. I do not mind spending this extra up-front time for decals I expect to sell multiple copies of in the future, but at this point (after 3 years and 150+ cars) if no one has asked for it, your probably the only one who wants it. So if I’m going to spend an extra 1-3 hours designing the decal masks you will be required to pay the “custom” price, even if you believe it is a common in-game decal.
